Make messages mean something again.

HumanSent turns digital messages into real, handwritten postcards created by real humans. It’s slower on purpose — because some things deserve friction.

This site is intentionally a little retro. The product is too.

Mission

We believe instant communication trained us to be casual with our words. HumanSent is a small rebellion: thoughtful messages, written by hand, mailed across the real world, and received like something that matters.

HumanSent is for: birthdays, apologies, gratitude, hard conversations, love notes, and anything you’d rather not “fire-and-forget.”

HumanSent is not for: real-time chat, edits, or infinite takes.

HumanSent Product Laws

These aren’t “features.” They’re the point.

  1. No instant delivery. Every message must be physically mailed.
  2. All handwriting is real. No fonts, no robots, no plotters.
  3. Photos must be taken live in-app. Zero preview. Not from camera roll.
  4. Messages cannot be edited once sent. No undo. No recall.
  5. No digital copies stored after writing. If it exists, it exists as a physical card only.

Team

Alex Reyes CEO / Founder

alex@humansent.co

Started HumanSent after watching their grandmother save every handwritten letter — and delete thousands of digital messages without reading them. Principled about the product philosophy. Warm, thoughtful, and stubborn (in the good way).

Morgan Kim COO

morgan@humansent.co

Operations veteran obsessed with the hard problem: scaling human handwriting while keeping quality high. Lives in dashboards, capacity planning, and fulfillment metrics — so your “slow message” still arrives on time.

Jordan Ellis Head of Product

jordan@humansent.co

Believes constraints are features. Spends a lot of time reading customer tickets and turning emotion into product decisions. If a request violates the laws, Jordan will explain why — with empathy and examples.

Sam Okonkwo Head of Engineering

sam@humansent.co

Pragmatic, reliability-first engineer. Keeps the system simple, dependable, and boring (compliment). Will ask “what’s the actual requirement?” until the truth comes out.

Taylor Park Customer Success

taylor@humansent.co

Friendly, thorough, and unshakeable. First line of defense for “this is urgent” emails — and the person who makes sure real problems become real fixes.

Riley Chen Senior Engineer

riley@humansent.co

Full-stack builder who takes features from spec to deploy. Loves weird, hard problems (like handwriting matching). Flags issues early and documents what took too long to figure out.

Casey Martinez Operations

casey@humansent.co

Runs the daily reality: fulfillment coordination, scribe logistics, and proactive status updates. If something looks like it might slip, Casey will notice first — and fix it.

Advisors

Chance Kelch Board Advisor

chance-advisor@humansent.co

Strategic, warm, and direct. Brings outside perspective and asks the hard questions that keep the company honest.

Sarah Chen Lead Investor

sarah-investor@humansent.co

Metrics-focused and engaged. Holds the team to commitments — and helps when it’s time for the next hill.

Tip: if you’re looking for instant delivery, you already have a dozen apps for that. We’re building the opposite.
